Fandoms: Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Sonic, Phoenix Wright. Lots of video games. Right at the moment I am completely wrapped in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, so watch out for that.

I love animation, so both western cartoons and anime are right up my alley. Some favourites are Azumanga Daioh, The Simpsons, Phineas & Ferb, Haibane Renmei, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Hidamari Sketch, Spongebob, Pixar-anything, no I don't care that Yotsuba&! is not animated, I'm putting it here anyway!

Oh, and who likes books? I always appreciate having fellow bookworms around, even if we don't always enjoy the same stories. Discussion, and hearing about titles I might not otherwise read is plenty interesting! Some favourites are Watership Down, the Pendergast series, Crime & Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, Good Omens, Ender's Game, please tell me someone else has read the Horatio Lyle series I am begging you, Artemis Fowl - lots of titles with magical or otherworldy happenings in mundane settings, I suppose. Ooh, and some recent favourites have been Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel and Johannes Cabal the Necromancer. Love it.

What in fandom interests me: Largely discussion, having fun, gushing about cool characters and bizarre headcanon. I rarely seek out art or fic, but it can be nice.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: I'm not really a shipper, but I'm not mindful in the least if others adore it. Just no fighting, okay? I feel awful when I see drama!
Major Non-fandom Interests: I draw, write, cook, sing, goof around, collect toys, voice act a bit in secret. I'm also a green apron-clad barista for a certain notorious coffee company, but let's not dwell upon that too much, shall we?
My LJ Contains Mostly: Babbling about whatever nonsensical topic happens to interest me. I suppose you could say it's mostly fandom-related, since I don't talk about myself much. Or work! I like to gripe about work. I hate you, one-nintey-degree-non-fat-no-water-absolutely-no-foam-under-penalty-of-death Chai lattes.
Other: I'll warn you now, I'm very shy and very reclusive. I read, but I'm too shy to comment very often. My apologies if that bothers you!

Spread the love! ♥ I've read that book so many times I've lost count. Oddly enough, it was the animated film I encountered first, when my fourth grade teacher screened it for the class as an Easter treat. And did it again the year after. I fell in love, even though the bit with Bigwig and the snare likely scarred me for life, haha.
