Name: Erin
Age: 22
Location: Midwest/Great Plains USA (it varies based on the map you look at)
Fandoms/Things I love: Resident Evil, Star Trek, Transformers, X-Men, District 9, Moon, Chuck, Glee, Castle, Stargate SG-1, House, Royal Pains, Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, White Collar, Chuck, Ironman, Comics, Fullmetal Alchemist, Avatar: the Last Airbender, House, Cash Cab, Mythbusters, Man Vs. Wild, Ace of Cakes, Diners Drive Ins and Dives, Good Eats, and a loooot more. Also Gundam Wing, Ghost in the Shell, and far too many books to list.
What in fandom interests me: Meta, fic, icons, graphics, squeeing, good discussion, anticipation of new stuff...basically anything fun
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Shipping wars, wank, places that make me feel like I cannot have a dissenting opinion, much less express it, people who aren't open to other ideas/options/interpretations of canon. You can have an opinion and love it lots, just lemme have mine too. &hearts
Major Non-fandom Interests: Writing, Art (I'm a graphic design student), science!, music, typography
My LJ Contains Mostly: Fandom-stuff, real life (sometimes, I try to keep it to a minimum. I'm less boring that way), artwork, fic, flailings, movie updates, outdated memes that I still find hilarious
Other: I just bought Doom and plan to watch it tonight? Also, Moon really was the most awesome sci fi film of 2009. &hearts

Drive-by shoutout to say HEEYYYY!!!

And ttly agree with you on Moon. Although to me it's tied with D9 as most awesome 2009 scifi movie.

Haaaaiiii I know you. XD

Depending on which I've seen most recently I tend to like one over the other, so they're probably technically tied in my head. I just bought Moon on DVD the yesterday, though, so I'm on a Moon kick right now. X3

Yay, Moon! I finally got to see that a couple of weeks ago, and it's fantastic - why did it not get more attention when it was out?

[identity profile] arcanelegacy.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
I have noooo idea. D: It certainly deserved much more attention than it got.

Let's see. . . Good Eats, Mythbusters, and Gundam Wing? And you're an artist into typography? Let's be friends! :3

Also, is that a Mike Rowe icon I see? Nice. ♥

[identity profile] arcanelegacy.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Mike Rowe is one of my many heroes. <3

Yayyyy friends!

[identity profile] sunegami.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Jamie Hyneman on fire?? I love you even more! XD

[identity profile] brandy-took.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
MOON! Also, Star Trek, X-Men and Psych, but somehow these seem less important when discovering someone who loved Moon.

Wanna be friends?

[identity profile] arcanelegacy.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes~! Moon needs more love and I would love more friends who love Moon. (And also Star Trek, X-Men, and Psych, but you're right, they pale in comparison to Moon.) <3!
