Popped over to your journal (like a creeper D:) and poked around at it because "RL/college posts, fan fiction, short blurbs on what I've been reading/watching" seemed relevant to my interests.

I agree with you on Yumeken! It is potentially a good series--maybe a good series for a FANDOM, if it were big enough to merit an active one--but severely lacking. I do think it improves--there are some nice arcs regarding Mizuki's brother later one. Like, two. But ultimately kind of ehh. And I agree with you on SPN 5x12. Good god. XP

I don't think I'd mind seeing more of Mizuki's brother (he had some personality). I'll remember that if my library gets more of the books.

Mizuki's brother is a total creeper. XD But he does make things more interesting when he shows up in an arc.
