Third was my favourite too, probably because it made the puppets into characters with backstories, and it also had them fighting Nazis. That's always a plus.

There's also Full Moon Underground, (http://z3.invisionfree.com/bandfans/index.php) but the folks there seem to be mostly fixated on what a douche they think Charles Band is.

Yeah, that's FMU. Mostly it's DVD covers, but I hadn't seen the trunk yet; that is indeed awesome!

I think anyone who's paid the slightest bit of attention to Full Moon is aware that Charles Band is long on sizzle, very short on steak (Subspecies V has been coming out Real Soon Now for about 12 years, even though he hasn't owned the rights for most of that time...), but I guess the real beef is Full Moon Direct, the webstore. My one experience with it was adequate, but apparently it is usually not unlike playing roulette--will you get anything at all? Will it be what you ordered? Will it be as described? You pays your money and you takes your chances. :)

But as far as fic and such goes--speaking as the almost sole reason there is a Subspecies fandom, if you build it, they really will come. :)

Puppet Master is SOOO awesome. Back when I was a kid I dreamed of having all the toys (I even considered making them myself!), but I only ever bought the Tunneler action figure and that 12 inch Blade one (favorite toy EVAH!). I'm still bummed that they never made a 12 inch Tunneler figure with clothes and all. I've never looked for a fandom but it kinda makes me sad to know that there isn't one.

You got Tunneler? You're so lucky. I found Jester for myself. And I've got the 12" Blade, too! (So awesome to have come across it at a convention. I wasn't even expecting to see it and had a heart attack when I did.)

I'd never thought to look for fandom either before now. (There is a forum dedicated to fanworks (http://z3.invisionfree.com/bandfans/index.php?showforum=17) for it, but no fic/art in there yet.) I wish there was a solid fandom, I was so tempted to write fic about how each puppet died and became puppets.
(I'm still ashamed to say I'd be tempted to slash it somehow.)

You know, even if there is no solid fandom you should still write that fic. It sounds really interesting. Out of curiosity I checked ff.net for PM fic and it looks like someone posted one today! (there are only two fics though). You should also slash away, haters to the left! I doubt you'd be the first puppet slasher in fandom, anyway. ;)

For years I've given up on anyone having watched these movies as well!

Puppet Master is one of my favorite movies, I wish there was a fandom for it too.

Most popular horror films have a fandom out there somewhere, especially from that time period. So I'm sure it's out there. Good luck!
