Oddly enough, despite Byakuran having a bit of godmodding going on - and I usually hate villains that seemingly don't have any weaknesses whatsoever, because it just makes them so boring when you know every fight they have with anyone who isn't the main protagonist is going to end in their favor, and thereby taking away all suspense from the fight(ex:Aizen from Bleach)- I actually find Byuakuran to be quite entertaining, simply because he's just being so damn ~*faaaaabolous*~ about it(orgasm wings, anyone?). And for that, I really can't bring myself to hate him. He's evil, and he's having a blast with it \O/

So agreed. I have a couple of friends who adore Byakuran but I went from not caring about him to outright despising him for what he turned Reborn into: another generic, faito shounen where the main character does nothing but get MOAR UPGRADES & POWERS without doing anything for it other than the manga needing some new deus ex machina, his side characters are proven absolutely useless despite them working for their powers leading to Tsuna having to save them again and again... and Byakuran just went plotholey godmode.

I know that's not all Byakuran's fault but mostly just the direction where the manga is going that I hate, but still, with him initiating the future!arc I'm probably unfairly blaming him for it. Added to that, I can't take him seriously at all anymore. Well, I think that ship sailed when cloud!Kuran came into existence, but STILL. Alternate dimension clones, really? Sigh.

Though my hate for him comes from one of the Reborn video games because he's SUCH A BASTARD in it.

Byakuran deserves your hate.

I like Byakuran to bits for many reasons, though I do understand if you don't like him. He's one of those characters: a hit-or-miss ---- but this is not at all relevant. What I'm trying to say is: hate him all you want, that's your right. He's a fictional character. Don't let them get the best of you.

Really? I don't find his fans conspiciously crazy. Well, maybe all the central characters in this fandom get their fair share of the obsessive fangirls so he doesn't stand out...

I was talking about the fandom fangirls in general. All together, they are an army full of danger and armed with pitchforks :|
