Charles isn't anything like Sharon. I can see how you'd loosely make the connection, but no. Anyway, are you saying that you pretended you didn't ship it for two seasons or that you pretended not to see some sort of 'obvious' clue that they were together? As much as everyone in the fandom would like to kid themselves, none of the ships are canon.
