I met a lot of people in WoW and in EQ that I never would have gotten along with outside of the game. I think that was one of the best parts of an MMO.

God yes! I adore this show on so many levels, I would kill for a more active fandom. There are so many ships to choose from (personally partial to a bit of Rita Sue/Jonesy and Ben/Sofie).

Charles isn't anything like Sharon. I can see how you'd loosely make the connection, but no. Anyway, are you saying that you pretended you didn't ship it for two seasons or that you pretended not to see some sort of 'obvious' clue that they were together? As much as everyone in the fandom would like to kid themselves, none of the ships are canon.

Have you read the book? The slash is so overt. Even more so than in the film. Bastian and Atreyu hold hands under the moonlight and watch the fireworks together. I think this pairing was also my first OTP, too, long before I discovered fandom. But I got it from reading the book at age 9, lol. I would definitely recommend getting it out and having a read. :D

Haha, all those zelda games. I get through all of the dungeons and then when it gets to the boss I hand the controller off to someone else. I never really mention that to my friends when talking about zelda games. Surely if I didnt have someone around me to beat the bosses for me, Id never have seen the end of games like Oot, MM, TP.
So you beat your first zelda by yourself :> You're better off than me
