If I ever have a kid, and it's doubtful I will, but if I do they are NOT getting cut. Thankfully it's not the normal thing over here so I wouldn't have to worry about the doctors going of and doing it without my permission. I don't care what the faith of the father is, it aint happening. If as an adult they want it done then fine but no way would I do that to my child.

To me, I'm all for respecting the faith of people, even when I don't share even some of the basics. But when it comes to body modification? No. Not unless medically needed.

But as I've said, I haven't the right to make that choice for everyone else in the world.


Hard choice you have to face. Have you talked to your husband about it? Cause I doubt even all Jewish boys have it done so he might not be dead set on getting it done. And I'm all for doing it the least painful way possible if it's going to be done.
