It's possible to be better, yeah, but - another tone problem. I read the comment as more airy than what would have made me comfortable.

I didn't realize, no, because it - really? It's not a skinned knee or a broken arm, and the 'better now' seemed to me as if the tone read, 'That's horrible, I hope stuff is cool again!'

If I took too much offense here, that was my mistake. I don't see how it makes me a cunt, though.

'Better now' just made it seem like, 'Oh, I hope stuff is cool again.'

My cunt intent is being overestimated here; I was mildly offended by the comment, and clearly that's not going to be the case for everyone. Apologies for whatever sour feeling, et cetera there were (though I didn't see my comment as particularly harsh).

Maybe it's a ymmv thing, I don't know.
