I have to wonder if it is one anon accusing BJR of absolutely every pokemon fandomsecret out there because that really seems to be the case.

You seem to think there's some sort of shame in connecting these things to me. I've pointed this out before yet you have yet to say what it is you find shameful in it.

I also can't help but notice that you anons said nothing about the Cyrus/Dawn secret last week even thought you know I ship it. Do you pick and choose or do you just come on in spurts, like acne?

How come nobody ever wild mass guesses that he just had a big ego? :( It's always "he was mentally ill" or "he's a woobie with a bad childhood".

That said, though, I always thought of him as just being bitter and disillusioned, bad childhood or not.

Can't speak for the OP but I don't think he's a woobie outside of DPA (and even then it had to develop), but I do agree that he was mentally ill. As for ego, he didn't seem to be doing it for his own gain (at least not entirely because that was a factor), but because he honestly believed it would benefit everybody.

Of course, "bitter and disillusioned" fits the OTHER most famous resident of Sunyshore (as well as "emotionally stunted" and "would step over anyone he needs to to get what he sees as perfection").

I agree. Especially his grandfather, since he saw what was going on and didn't do anything about it.

That's why I like DPA so much. Someone tries to REASON with Cyrus in it, and even that minimal effort winds up helping.
