This fanfic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5171622/1/From_The_Ashes) has a bit of that sort of thing - centuries post-series, a Zero-obsessed history student is part of an excavation of an old cemetery. With references to historical theories, and a movie about Zero!

But it's only three chapters long and hasn't been updated in months.
