The hate is kind of saddening, to be honest. It's frustrating to see nothing but Shizuo and Izaya, but bashing them just because they're the popular ones isn't going to change anything about that. If it's that annoying, go do something to spread the love around a little. All the people replying to this secret are indication enough that you won't get ignored just because you're not talking about them.

To be honest, I haven't seen much bashing - just dislike or indifference. Unless you count "I find x more interesting than y" as bashing.

Bashing probably wasn't the right word, but I think it is unnecessarily negative to make a point of talking about characters in terms of "I find X more interesting than Y, why does everyone love Y so much?" when you could just say "I find X really interesting." But I'm in love with everyone in the cast who's gotten any real attention so far, so. Grain of salt.
