I've realized that for me, it's actually not that I dislike Izaya/Shizuo; just find the way they're being fangirled and portrayed by fangirls really off-putting. Anyway, I'm amused by how we're seven episodes in and there's already backlash to this pairing. And that this backlash has a lot of support.

It's time to not care what other people choose to ship or like, even if there's a lot of it. Maybe then fandom in general could get past this passive aggressive bullshit being played out in fandom secrets where someone makes a secret about how repressed they are in fandom when fandom doesn't really actually give a fuck. Call me back when ShiIza fans are hating on other pairings and making fans feel unwelcome. Until then, everyone should put on their big girl panties and suck it up.
