I hate to say that Hughes' death was when it got interesting, but that's when the first anime diverged from the manga in the first place, if I'm not mistaken. I'm probably gonna spend the rest of today catching up and waiting impatiently for me. (Don't feel bad doing that - my sister and I spent a whole night watching the second season of the first FMA. So much emotion and WHOA PLOT made me feel like Envy had punched me in the heart for hours.)

I love his voice. No matter what language, Roy always has that sexy, authoritative voice that just... sadasdasf ♥

The first anime significantly diverged from the manga after Greed is first introduced.

*shrugs* I admit that I haven't read very much of the manga, so I can really only compare the first anime to Brotherhood and hope that it's as accurate to the manga as everyone says it is. I was amazed at how different the whole situation with Greed was. One thing I dislike in the first anime is that you're never told how on earth Greed and Dante were ever linked to one another - I assume she tried to resurrect the human that Greed once was, but again, they never explain it and that always bugged me.
