¬¬ I agree, but that's probably my nostalgia talking. (waves hands helplessly) If I think about it, Sleeping Beauty makes me headdesk so so very hard. Briar Rose is so bloody passive (wtf was up with just accepting the name change, when she'd been Briar Rose for her whole life?), and it just bugs me that the second Phillip arrived on-scene the focus switched to him. That's just bait and switch main characters Disney. :| Do Not Approve.

But they were adorable together, just slightly goofy and love-struck and so sweet! I loved Phillips ick face at the beginning (such a little boy), and the music, and the art and the dress (ZOMG, BLUE DRESS), and that Maleficent was so so so very bad ass, and the fairies and and Samson and the Queen's voice was so pretty. All two lines of it!

*cough* Older!Phillip was pretty hot too, or would have been if he hadn't been slump-shouldered and defeated. I would have been pretty happy to wake up to that.

Anyway! Watching that movie makes me feel shallow, but happy. ;a;
