I didn't really care for it at all, to be honest. It felt a bit hamfisted, but I was probably just tainted by reading somewhere that the actors had played the characters as being like brother and sister because they thought giving them UST would be too much of a cliche.

...Doesn't help that I think Astrid is pure sex on legs and none of the other characters seem to have noticed.

Ha, I'm kind of torn. I love the off-beat little family they are (don't forget Astrid!), but I was also silently cheering that scene. As long as the romance doesn't start to become THE focus of the show, then I don't see why both can't co-exist happily.

...Just some of the family will want to bone each other. ;D

I'm of two minds here. I used to think it was a fine pairing for casual fanfic reading, but I never wanted to see it on the show or even considered it one of my ships. Now? I want it, and I ship it, BUT I'm worried it'll get too UST-y or angsty. The show hasn't really relied on any UST or romance drama thus far, so I think it would be really awesome if they just sort of quietly hooked up and had a normal, loving relationship, with all the drama and tension in the episodes coming from the regular plot not from will-they/won't-they or we have to break up for your safety! or similar tired plot devices. Now that would be a subversion of cliche.
