Me too! Hee, actually, I'm really interested in reading fic about the angels - actual angels themselves, not with overtones of Sam or Dean. But sadly the only Gabriel fic out there seems to be Sam/Gabriel. I really hope more fic about the relationship between the angels (particularly Michael and Gabriel) pops up.

This is an interesting thing to ponder...

I also really hope that Gabriel will go Team Free Will. I don't think it would be going against his character either.

I think I could see it. He doesn't want to side with the angels---he just wants it to be over; I could see him joining the Winchesters just because he'll get an ending, and he could stick it to his obnoxious family.

Yup yup yup! I'm rooting for it, and I feel like it's plausible.

I WOULD BE SO INTO THAT. For real. I want the whooole angel Brady Bunch backstory, man.

I don't see why they would be in the same place at the same time. In fact, I kind of expect it.

Aww, this just reminded me that we probably won't get more Young-John-as-Michael, which made me sadface, cause Matt Cohen totally nailed the part. I mean, Jensen Ackles playing Michael would be *awesome*, but would also require Dean saying Yes, which, not so awesome.

I figure if they can reconstitute Jimmy from his Chunky Angel Soup state, there's no reason they can't pull a Young John out of the ether.

God, I want this so bad. D: I love Gabriel, he's my second favorite angel and easily my third or fourth favorite character (and he's only appeared three times, self, wth).

Some Gabriel vs Micheal or Gabriel vs Lucifer on behalf of Team Free Will would make my life. Granted that Gabriel manages to spirit away before he gets torn to shreds, but gah I want that. ♥

Have you read "Dies Irae, Or Something"? I just read it last night, and it's fantastic. It has a totally badass Gabriel on behalf of Team Free Will, with bonus Michael.

OMG THIS! I wanna know more about the ~angelic family~.

I predict Gabriel will side with Team Free Will for no other reason than Zacheriah is the biggest jackass of them all and we all know how Gabe likes to dick with dicks. As for the Michael side of things I kinda think that if those two got into it they'd be a lot of collateral damage, not because he rebelled per se (one could argue that Gabriel metes out his own brand of divine justice) but because Gabriel isn't a solider. He doesn't like direct physical violence and that has got to go against most Heavenly instincts.

That sounds quite awesome. I know a large chunk of the fanbase is yelling that the show doesn't focus on Sam and Dean anymore, but I'm intrigued by the angels' relationships with each other, too.

You know what I want? I want Gabriel to meet Crowley. I've said this before, but I think they should meet Cupid and have a wacky spin-off.

I would kill to get them in a room together onscreen. Seriously. I was all for the Trickster = Gabriel reveal, partially cause "YAAAAAY IT MAKES MY FAVOURITE RECURRING-RANDO RELEVANT TO THE MYTHARC", partially cause I think it's hilarious that God's Messenger ran away to a life full of pastries and lava lamps and sexy women in their undies, but in a very big way because it opened up SO MANY MORE QUESTIONS*. What's gonna happen if/when Gabe meets up with Michael again was one of my biggest, too. Man, the whole heavenly family is so fucked up. I love it! That part at the end of Changing Channels when Dean briefly speechified at Gabe for turning his back on his family made me loooong to get to see him meet up with some before this apocalypse is through.

*you can so tell by my reaction to SPN that I'm a longtime LOST fan. OVER. ANALYZE. EVERYTHING!
