Yeah, but I think that was part of the immersion. In that moment, you felt like Desmond. I don't know a single person who didn't say "wtf" at the exact same time as him. 8D

This secret reminded me of a moment in the first season of Merlin that almost made my skin crawl off my bones. The main villain was scrying on her enemies using a bowl of water, hatched a plan, smirked and then glanced up RIGHT into the camera. For a moment I felt like that women was scrying through my TV and watching me D:

Ditto! My heart sort of jumped in terror for a second. I don't know how it's possible, but at the time my reaction to the scene was partially: "are you serious? this is like Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull" and partially: "omg this whole talking directly to Desmond thing is badass".
