Really? If I had to choose, I got the vibe that Katniss/Gale was the inevitable H/Hr; particularly given Peeta's page time versus Gale and the fact that we actually get to Katniss/Peeta explored and thought about. Katniss/Gale...hell, the author still hasn't even given us any real reason why the hell she's even interested in Gale other than they've been friends for ages. When she was suddenly, "OMG HE'S MY OTHER HALF!" I was like.,"...why?"

idk, Gale/Katniss has always seem way more wtf and out of left field (like H/Hr) than Katniss/Peeta.

AGREED. Gale's barely had any pagetime and most of that is spent telling us how he and Katniss love each other, rather than giving us any actual reason to think that. It's such a contrived love triangle. Shame, because other than that, I do love the books.

YES, this.

I give Gale the benefit of the doubt because there is a natural tendency for teenage girls to look to the boys they know the best for their first romances, and well, she's not faking it with him. That's the main problem I have with Katniss/Peeta-- two books and she's still (mostly) pretending to be in love with him. I mean, what is he going to do in the third book to ~win her over~? He's already risked his own life for her how many times?

Frankly, I want her to end up with Cinna :D
