If I thought it would do any good, I would gladly sit down with Hart Hanson and tell him just what I said in my above post. Sometimes I wish there were a way to get through to him in that regard. For all of us to do so. I wish we could be heard.
And, you know, I know that sometimes writers and showrunners have to do what they think is best. I know this. They aren't always going to do what the fans expect or think they want. But truly, I do think that the quality of the program is diminished by what he's doing (or not doing, as the case may be) with the characters now. The genuine connections are being lost. I really do think that. We get it back in bits and pieces, in occasional scenes, or in episodes like Proof in the Pudding, but in an overall sense, that's not enough. Not when every episode used to have a focus, a decent meaningful direction, and inclusion of all the characters in interesting and heartening ways.

Oh, you definitely don't have to explain in that regard. In fact, I think you're much kinder to the show than I am. I'm not sure I can say that I love the show anymore. I definitely feel the disappointment. And I think the overemphasis of the B/B relationship throughout season 4 has ruined them for me... this season, even when we get a decently-written scene, episode or moment, I still find myself eye-rolling at Booth and Brennan because I've become so disillusioned after being forcefed their relationship. I don't want to eyeroll, but I can't seem to rediscover my enthusiasm for them. It's frustrating and a little bit sad.
