I thought they were fantastic. Wichita was exactly the kind of person who would survive the zombie apocalypse. Much like Columbus and his paranoia and Tallahassee and his badassery, Wichita had the brains to figure out what to do and the guts to know that she had to do what she needed to do in order to survive. Even Little Rock had the balls to follow along.

I mean, come on. How are they NOT awesome? So they have some 'moral' problems. Who cares? That's what makes characters interesting.

Yeah, I was about to post something like this - each of the characters was a comment on the type of person who would survive if a zombie apocalypse were to occur. Sure, Wichita and Little Rock may not have been the type of girls you'd like in an ordinary society...but they have the attitude it would take to live on in that situation. Be ruthless, trust no one, etc.

Exactly. Plus it was implied that things weren't going great for them even before the zombies popped up, but Wichita was strong enough to work out a way for she and her sister to survive. Which probably isn't admirable to a lot of people, but if I and my little sister were in that situation I probably wouldn't take the moral high ground.

Yeah, i blame the writers, not the characters. They clearly needed a plot device and they decided to fuck up the characters in order to do it.
