This. :/ It's just so fucking disappointing.

I was trying to state my anti-caster opinion in a mainly pro-caster Last Airbender thread (on a non-Avatar forum) while maintaining that I wasn't going to shove it down anyone's throats, but that I hoped that they would respect that people have other opinions on the casting and not start flinging insults.

Then they started calling me "racist" and "retarded" and used arguments like "They needed to ask for Caucasian people specifically because if they put 'All ethnicities', then white actors would look at the source material and assume that the roles were Asian."

I don't think I'm going back to that forum.
