Not things like "I haet S/U because vageens are icky" but just general not caring for it. Geez, Kirk/McCoy is my OTP, but my automatic assumption isn't that one must be homophobic for not liking it}

Yea, I know what you mean. I just feel a little insulted when people comment with bullshit comments calling someone racist just because that don't like Uhura with Spock or calling the anti-women if they don't like the females in a show. I pride myself in having a very open mind, and for people to pass judgment like that without knowing anything about me rubs me the wrong way. If someone on my flist were to call me racist, I would try to understand why, because this is my friend. When some anonymous commenter on fandom secrets says something like that, I just think they have too much time on their hands if they can go around passing out their baseless opinions.

Man, if it's an anon comment, I would just assume they're trolling or trying to stir up shit. Or have a chip on their shoulder. I guess when the only weapon you have is a hammer...

Dude, what the hell? You want to post secrets and have everyone sit in respectful silence, not passing judgment or having opinions? "Too much time on their hands"? You're the one that spent the time making the secret and submitting it, they have every right to form an opinion of what they're given. That doesn't make it true or anything, but your attitude of "well I never!" is ridiculous!
