Why are so many commenters presuming that the OP is bitching or complaining? There's no tonal context to this secret.

The fact that they included 'crazy' and 'uneducated' in their list of potential moral failings. It gave me the impression that they were treating this as a self-esteem crisis, rather than a serious moral inventory.

If it had just said uneducated I would've given them the benefit of doubt, to be honest. Ignorance is a key step in inventory of moral failings.

I'd originally taken the "uneducated" in the context of "educate yourself," and "crazy" to mean that some of OP's habits or preferences are looked down upon by others in fandom with a "people who do this are batshit insane" sort of air. Seems most people aren't reading it that way, though...
