It's a close call between Ed Wood and Mars Attack! Maybe Ed Wood. It was so full of heart. It made you pity Ed, but at the same time you couldn't help but love that exhuberant loser who kept trying despite everything. When did Burton ditch good scripts for visuals?

I keep forgetting Mars Attacks is a Burton movie. I only saw it once when I was little, didn't like it... because those aliens were scary! Haha. I should see it again :) Ed Wood was a good one, too.

Hm, perhaps when he figured out people care more about the visuals? I felt so bad each time he lost an Oscar for his GOOD movies and then got one for a mediocre film :/
