15. Just wondering, but what if a series HAS no canon pairing? Should you just not write fics at all? Or should they all be entirely friendship/gen?

What about something like augh, FFVII with Cloud/Tifa or Cloud/Aeris, and both of them were semi-canon but never official? Which would you pick as "the" canon?

Write whatever. I'm just sick of having "the" canon pairing bashed constantly and people going into denial and/or wanting to kill one or both participants.
