4. Lulz, GW fandom. I was involved in it when I was, like, what, 12? I'm sure it's changed a lot since then. The thing I remember most were the blazing pairing wars that went on between the various factions. Good times, good times.
12. I know exactly how you feel. :( I guess if it's important enough to you, you'll be able to make time, though I guess it also depends on where you wind up working.
14. I think long posts can be good, as long as I'm getting a clear perspective on what's going on in the character's mind and not, like, paragraphs of pointless physical description. I know it's annoying to read posts that are tldr-length, but on the other hand, it's pretty lame to get short posts that don't have much substance to them, characterization-wise.
15. But then fandom would be boring. :( People wouldn't think so much about how characters relate to each other, and we'd probably get some pretty cookie-cutter characterization in fanfics and stuff. Besides, what about fandoms that didn't have any pairings at all? Would people be better off just not exploring the different potential dynamics characters could have with each other?
To be fair, though, I think fandom does have a tendency to get too caught up in who characters do, rather than what they do. :P
18. I'M SO GUILTY Of USING THAT EMOTICON TOO MUCH. But, I'd like to think I don't overly abuse it. Like, I know some people who use it after every sentence, and I don't have the faintest clue why. But if you say/do something silly/embarrassing, I think it works.
