I was surprised by that choice, but I still think have huge plans for the character. I personally want to see Sayid find redemption for all he has done and embrace the fact that he does have a good soul. I know that doesn't seem too likely right now but I still think it could happen. And yes, Naveen will always be hot. ;)

I disagree. I think the show did a great job showing Sayid's growing desperation and his decaying moral code. I thought it was a fitting (albeit shocking) step in his development.
