a) Uh, I understand picking what to watch next based on people here on F!S watch, because it can be a pretty awesome place to find new fandoms and all, but really REALLY being disappointed because they don't enjoy what you do? That is just... petty.

b) Which episodes did you watch exactly? I mean, it surprises (and shocks) me that you appreciate Torchwood but not Doctor Who and I'm curious why you think like that. So if you do see this, OP, let me know!

awww, I'm sorry. I can watch it and enjoy aspects of it. But as an introduction to Doctor Who it is failtastic.
