GOD IKR!! I actually /read/ HINABN too! And.. Well, it's not so bad now, but before, the ~STYLISHNESS~ actually interfered with the storytelling to the point that it was just bad comic writing. as in WHERE THE FUCK IS THE NEXT PANEL O-OH GOD

...but I think Tessa has mostly fixed that by now. Well.. IMO, it is a little sillypretentious, but I love that I can chat up the author every now and then and learn a few things while the comic's still in the making. Being almost part of the process is awesome.

I agree that the panelling is often fucked up, but I'll give the author the benefit of the doubt considering the comic is really just getting on its feet.

I agree. I like it, but it is trying a bit too hard on that front, perhaps to compensate for the cliche horror archetypes (zombie, vampire, werewolf, etc.)

Agreed, she's really starting to hit her stride IMO. I just started reading the comic and basically went through the whole thing a couple weeks ago. Just seeing how much she's improved since she started the comic is really impressive. It shows that she's actively trying to perfect the craft. There are webcomics out there that have looked the same for YEARS with no apologies.

Which leads me to believe she is, in fact, quite genuine.

131 anon here and I went and read all of the comic, and, um, yeah, pretty much everything you just said. The pretentiousness made me RAEG at first but now it's toned down so much that it's silly and sort of endearing.
