OH MY GOD A PHULE'S COMPANY SECRET!
God I love that book. I still read it regularly, it's just so damned awesome! He doesn't just buy his way out of problems, he buys his way out intelligently, using his money to help get the desired results rather than jumping right there! It's amazing! And shows money can be an effective tool too!

(Anonymous) 2010-03-19 12:22 am (UTC)(link)I read the sequel that's just Asprin and enjoyed it, but I was warned off the co-written sequels by a serious MythAdventures fangirl who thinks Asprin just wrote outlines for them, and the co-author did most of the actual writing, which messed up all the voices. So, for me, canon ends at Phule's Paradise, and the rest is author-approved fanfic. ;-)
