I know exactly what you mean about the fandom. I don't WANT to view fanart drawn by 12 year olds so I kind of gave up looking for R+C stuff a long time ago. On top of that I ship a pairing that nobody else ships, so I have even less motivation to join the fandom. Ughhhhh. ~~if it makes you feel better I'd tap Clank too~~

Ughhhh, it's so embarrassing that I don't even want to admit it, but I'll answer anyway in white text:

Dear god, I want to unsubscribe from Heart of Oltanis half the fucking time because half the shit in it is utter garbage. Whiplash is about the only epic artist there, but I don't give two shits about her OCs (her Ziggy reminds me FAR too much of the Ziggy from Xenosaga to be perfectly honest).

Hell, my favorite character is LAWRENCE, and there's not much of anything fannish made starring him.

And thaaaat's why I avoid DA at all costs now. I'm not usually stuck up about my own artwork, but it's sad when my crappy (http://www.flickr.com/photos/24489218@N03/4300546895/in/photostream/) quick (http://www.flickr.com/photos/24489218@N03/4300563229/in/photostream/) studies (http://www.flickr.com/photos/24489218@N03/4300542545/in/photostream/) in expressions are better than half the stuff posted there.

Also, I'm sad about the lack of Lawrence fan-stuff too. Almost makes me want to do a quick fancomic of him. XD

And also, don't feel self concious, maaaan. Haven't seen your work, but we all have to start somewhere and it doesn't help if you get all self conscious. Hehehe...it's not as if I'm as bad as like..the 12 year olds, I know that. I just don't see myself creating any amazing works of art.

Poking around your DA. ~~I'm not a stalker I swear lol~~. I think you have a good start in your art skils. Noticed you leave your characters on white bgs a lot though. Don't be afraid to push yourself, even if you just lay down some shadows for where the characters are standing. :)

Hi I don't know if anyone will read this but not long ago I stumbled upon this artist on deviantART http://magnetohydrodynamic.deviantart.com they have some ok-looking R'n'C fanart in the gallery.
