113 - LOL I don't know how someone looks like while having severe testicular trauma, but when I saw his performance I thought for the entire time that the poor boy was about to burst into tears... It made me nervous. x_x

Lol, same here. But if I were Kurt, I'd probably have started crying halfway through. I think that's more of an in-character uncomfortable moment than a fail on Chris Colfer's part. D:

On the contrary, his face during Defying Gravity is a huge win on Colfer's part. The first time through all I could think is "this boy had it, why is he so nervous?" Watching AFTER I knew why, it was just heartbreaking. I don't know why he didn't just concede instead of faking a break.

To be perfectly honest, I still don't know why he threw it. "Defying Gravity" may be traditionally sung by a woman, but there's nothing in the lyrics (especially cut down like that) that makes it obvious, nobody at their school actually seems to pay attention to what they sing, and any type of person who'd give him and his father grief for it probably wouldn't be the type to know what the song was from and who sings it.

...I dunno, I figgered it was Puck who made the call anyway.

Rewatching that scene I was very impressed with his acting. Even if I'm not so much a fan of his voice.
