While it's definitely true that Guy likes women (he has nothing against them, likes them, etc.) and he takes offense against people calling him a woman-hater, the fact of the matter is that he probably represses any feelings of affection that he has for females because he can't act on them. I think that having Guy's omg overwhelming love for one of the girl characters help him to overcome his gynophobia in a fic could actually be more out of character than having him turn to another male for a relationship. As much as he might find girls attractive, etc., he can't have a physical relationship with any of them, which means that he'd either have to remain a virgin or turn toward men, at least for sexual gratification.

That being said! You're obviously allowed to not like Guy/Luke, so I'm not saying anything against that. I dunno, I'm just sort of rambling and giving my thoughts about the matter and why I believe Guy might realistically have to take another look at his sexuality, etc. If people could write a fic where Guy was straight and in a relationship with a girl and make it work? All the power to them. I just think it would be just as easy to make het pairings OOC for Guy as it would be to make gay pairings OOC for him.
