I dunno, mpreg might be considered odd but it's still a lot more widely accepted and written than fat fetish stuff, so I can see why OP might feel this way.

I've seen way more Mpreg than fat-fetish in my fandoms. Which isn't too surprising, I guess, since most fandoms are based on tv/movies/anime/other media that hardly ever feature overweight folks.

I think outside of fandom mpreg would be considered way freakier than being a chubby-chaser, of course.

See, I don't pay attention to whatever fandoms get their jollies from because I just prefer to play/watch/read/listen and then discuss it, rather than using whatever media I'm interested in as a springboard for sexual fantasies, be they vanilla or kinky- so I'm approaching this from a different way. Fat fetish I get- in as much as fetishes can be "got" (different strokes, etc.)- some people like 'em fat, and fat, you know, happens naturally. Mpreg on the other hand is pretty far on the extreme end of fantasy in that it's not physically possible not to mention the whole psychosocial elements and so on and so forth- I mean how does it even work does the dude just go HRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNG and then stare in the toilet for a few minutes before flushing lakjs;dalkfjda;lfdjadf fuck this i'm gonna go watch millennium and pretend society makes sense
