In trying to convince others that not everyone who dislikes the Spock/Uhura comm is a racist, it's generally advisable not to make comments that are actually, you know, racist.

Whomever you feel like fucking in your spare time has nothing to do with the value you put on your race or your ethnicity. The freedom to be attracted to/be in a relationship with someone REGARDLESS of race is a constant struggle for a lot of minorities who are discouraged from doing so from many different directions, and part of the battle to be recognized as an actual three-dimensional human being.

If you were trying to suggest some members of the S/U comm are hypocritical between what they espouse and what they actually practice, why don't you do us all a favor and prove yourself better than they are by not making racially ignorant comments about the possible motivation for said choices in their personal lives?

Because seriously, it is really not that difficult to be the better (wo)man where these people are concerned.

Talking to every anon like they are the anon previous is not advisable.

They are still stepping outside of their race and then preaching about the sancitiy of a black character and how to approach speaking about blacks and race relations. That's relevant.
