I'm not into either, but... see, YOU make sense. What gets me is that this secret is not just "oh, mpreg is easy to find and connects with the fat fetish and that is why I read it." That would make sense. But it was "I feel weird reading about something that is completely natural. So I will instead read something that is biologically impossible."

Dude. If you like fat guys, you shouldn't feel weird about it.


On a side note, I find it interesting that fat women seem to be fetishized more... but if you see a fictional couple in entertainment (i.e. a sitcom) it's ALWAYS the guy that is fat. Never the girl. The girl is always slim. Hairspray was so refreshing to see the tables turned with this...

I guess I just took the secret to mean that going by general fandom preferences mpreg has a wider level of acceptance, and even if it squicks some people there are plenty of people who enjoy it and seek it out so the poster doesn't feel alone/like a freak reading it.

Unfortunately the fat guys on sitcoms are usually played for laughs and aren't really portrayed as attractive, and I've never seen one half as kick ass as Tracy from Hairspray.
