No, chances are it's because you're introverted, shy, and socially awkward. Start being friendlier and more outgoing and people will generally like you better, which leads to more friends. It took me until college to really begin to absorb this advice, but it works a lot better than thinking no one likes you because you scare them. Even if that's true, it's more likely it's because you're unintentionally being an asshole. Solution is again, try to be more friendly and outgoing. You pick up social interaction as you go.
