It actually started out being tasteless fetish fuel. It's been forever so I might be remembering wrong, but the main idea comes from a manga about the lives of otaku, some of them creepy, and one of the bits was them making a porn game about disabled girls. /a/ just took the idea and ran with it.

I've seen that page they based it on but I didn't know about the context. (Which makes it *not* being fetish fuel even weirder. Congratulations to four leaf studios, anyway, and I'll be waiting for the rest of it!)

I thought it was just an unrelated bonus page in some doujin.
