Let me guess. This person is on your f-list? Do you consider it a lie when you behave sweetly to her face then take your repressed rage to FS? Worth considering.

Beyond that, in my experience these types are rarely conscious liars. Usually they're delusional hypocrites--they really do believe that they're considerate, gifted, etc.

I know who the secret is about and I know the OP. No, OP does not have the secret subject on her flist. She's not a hypocrite.

Actually, no, she isn't. We just happen to share a fandom and she ignores and deletes all concrit.

I've never lied to her about how I felt about what she does, either. She just refuses to pay any attention.

I'm not the only person who has tried to help her improve, but she will have nothing of it.

This won't magically make her change her ways, but it helped me vent and I am happy about it. I doubt she'll ever see this, nor would she care if she did.
