Yes! My brother and I are used to liking the same stuff, so now that I watch SPN and he watches anime we keep forcing each other to sit through our stuff in hopes that we can get some shared fandoms again. It's pretty silly, really.

All my earliest fandoms (Harry Potter, Final Fantasy, DBZ, Kingdom Hearts and probably more stuff I'm forgetting) were ones I shared with my little brother and they almost certainly wouldn't have been as much fun if I'd been alone. <3
