...lol, wow! I was around downtown with hobbit_eyes and some of her friends on one of those days, and we ran into a ton of people cosplaying as various anime characters milling about the sidewalks and Pioneer Square, and we were like, huh, there must be a con in town! So we asked and were informed it was in the Hilton. And now I know what con it was. That's random, but cool.

But anyway, actually the best thing about Portland is the public transportation system.
