135: Srry forgot to label

That's why the you have the Jpop fandom, yeah same thing with the Johnny's but at least they vary genres and they aren't as arrogant and superficial like
Kpop.

I'm pretty sure if you look hard enough...you'll find the more talented people of Kpop. Well...if you LOOK HARD ENOUGH. Even then, idol groups are still at the forefront of Kpop, and netizens don't look at the mirror often. And their fans still brag and "imprison" their idols.

Ia with what you're saying, if the op wants more creativity then they should look at jpop instead(although there are very talented korean soloists too, however with idol groups being the forefront of the music industry they dont get the recognition they deserve these days)

Lol though I disagree about Johnny's. At least there *are* some talented singers in kpop groups, even if they're few and far between. (I'm not sure what you mean about arrogant in comparison to kpop idols either because i could certainly name a few...)

No I meant from other groups/singers, Johnny's are just there to make you smile and forget about your problems.

That's what makes it pop music...the fact that it's formulaic makes it easy on the ears. There's actually a few studies and scientific books on the matter...something about the way it plays with the brain's reward system. You will see patterns in any pop music.

So OP, good for you for getting the urge to expand your tastes.

kpop=jpop=cpop=uspop

It's all formulaic, hard to decipher, and very superficial. And there's nothing wrong with liking that. I like kpop because it's really catchy and the artists are cute. I like jpop because it's really catchy and the artists are cute. I like cpop because it's really catchy and the artists are cute. I like uspop because it's really catchy and the artists are cute. :l None more or less than the other.
