The last I heard she wasn't but that might have changed since then, I haven't really been following. I hope it's been changed!

If she has then the rant was sort of unwarranted so I'm sorry for that (although it still is a bit problematic since the rest of the main cast is still white but whatever).

Suki is played by Jessica Andres, who is Filipino.

And Zuko is played by Dev Patel, who is Middle Eastern. So no, the "rest of the main cast" is not all white.

Dev Patel is Indian. There is seriously no way you could mistake for Middle Eastern.

Hee, np. Honestly it's pretty nebulous, I think, I have also heard Pakistan and, on one occasion, Bangladesh (which is east of India!) referred to as the Middle East, but it is really not the usual thing. As far as I can tell, the Middle East is more of a cultural distinction than a geographic one; either way it usually doesn't extend beyond Afghanistan. For the record, I believe India and the surrounding countries (Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan and possibly Tibet, I think?) are usually referred to as South Asia or the Indian Subcontinent - the latter less often than the former for obvious reasons. /pedantry Sorry for snapping, btw. I am grouchy tonight.

The rest of the Kyoshi warriors are Asian as well. And it's been announced that the Earth Kingdom consists of Asian and Black folk, so Toph is most likely going to be one of those.
