...Am I the only one who thinks actually believing in this is really weird? I mean, sure it's a neat idea, but believing in it enough to want to study physics? It has nothing to do with physics, or at least not any physics that can be developed in the near future.
Forgive me if the actual case is that you don't honestly believe it, it just piques your interest in many-worlds theories. If so, then all power to you.

Agreed! I mean, it's awesome to think about, but in the end it gets a little to close to bizarre otakukin territory for me to be comfortable with believing it.

...I still want it to be true, though.

Well, I don't think it's being a killjoy to acknowledge that someone has kinda freaky delusions. More like a ... kill-creepy. (I mean, I don't want to shoot down their cute fantasies - until they start believing in them.)

Stop encouraging people to live in the little worlds they make up inside their heads. They could eventually go completely mad and start hurting people because they think they are trolls (true story, it was on the news a few years ago).

One of the things that weirds me out about all this is everyone acting like the OP is somehow original? or especially clever for coming up with this? I had this fanfic idea when i was 12. :\
