I know what you mean — there are so many books which I love but find mildly depressing on account of knowing I'll never be able to write like th- wait, holy crap, there's a fourth book in that series now? What rock have I been living under, here?

OMG There's a fourth one??? I discovered King of Attolia about a year or so ago... but I didn't know a fourth book had been written! Bought The Thief and Queen of Attolia when they first came out because it sounded awesome... and that first copy of The Thief is dog-eared now. I luffs it. :D She puts SO MUCH into creating the stories and the worlds and just... yeah. She's amazing. :D

I love Megan Whalen Turner so much. I had basically given up on modern day fantasy writers - then I discovered her books, and oh my god.

My faith in humanity writing; it has been restored. ♥
