Me, too. (My secret: I can't listen to 21st Century Breakdown because I listened to it heavily when it first dropped while I was suicidally depressed and now listening to it reminds me of how bad off I was a year ago, even if the music really, really helped me stay somewhat sane. I still love the band, and all of their music.)

For some reason Kerplunk is the only record of theirs I've been able to like (besides Dookie of course, but that's just because of nostalgia). It was also the first record I ever bought for myself on vinyl

If it wasn't for Green Day, I definitely wouldn't be the person I am today. They had a huge impact on my life in high school and beyond. Billie Joe is the reason I started playing guitar. Also, they put on an absolutely killer show. Sacramento last year was fucking nuts. Don't understand why this is a secret though, OP. There's a lot of honor in what they do and anyone that says otherwise is an ignorant twat who hasn't done enough research. :)
