Speaking from personal experience here.
My ex husband tried to force me to convert from Kemetic Paganism to Catholicism. He threatened to destroy my books, my relics, my altar and called me a filthy hedonistic heathen. He said he wouldn't have children with me because he was afraid they'd turn up with birth defects- that God would punish the products of his seed for joining with the ovum of a pagan.
FTR, he knew I was pagan when we started dating and said he had no problem with it. He didn't try to force conversion until after we were married.
He found himself on the streets after he threatened to destroy a statue of Anubis my best friend had bought for me 9 years ago.
My point? If you love someone, you won't force them to change. You love them for everything they are, not in spite of what they are. If you want them to change, you don't love THEM, you love what you want them to be.
And FWIW, I have developed deafness/blindness to "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL" rants aimed in my direction. Anubis and Ma'at will decide my fate, not YOU.

I guess I really am an odd person when it comes to fellow Christians. My dad is a retired United Church of Christ minister and when I was little he would take me to Buddhist services and other religious services and just taught me that I should never push my beliefs on anyone. If they asked,that was fine, but shoving it in anyone's face would be rude and never endear anyone to listen to me no matter what the subject.
But then, he had a master's degree in Anthropology before he went into the ministry, so that probably helps a bit, lol.
