7. The differences in the two games are so minute, there really is nothing to complain about. Frankly, I'm getting tired of the so-called plots of the Pokemon games, it's the same old shit and they only repeated it twice. Some crazy batshit hippie attempts to awaken an ancient Pokemon to create a new world order. Man, I miss Team Rocket. At least they were just aiming for world domination in general and we didn't have this pseudo philosophical crap. They were just evil. It doesn't get any more complex than that.

Wow, that's one hell of a tangent. LOL But yeah... I guess you just don't like the Diamond exclusives. I don't blame you, I like Glameow. :[

I say challenge the fanbrat to a battle and whoop it's ass with your awesome Pearl Pokemon. That'll shut them up.

I just ... no. There's too many Pokemon for me to keep TRACK of them all anymore. The first set after the original set was like "Okay ... that's a lot, but I think I can remember most of them..." but then they kept adding MORE and ... my poor brain.

... I feel like that needs to be iconed. XD

HAHAHAHA I know! XD I don't mind of the most new Pokemon and I think it's fun to find them all, but I'm really just still playing it because I think Pokemon is a solid RPG and the core gameplay hasn't changed at all, they just added ... a lot of bells and whistles. A lot. But soon, the amount of known Pokemon will just reach ridiculous proportions and even I will think it's crazy. e_e;

... Oh lord, that would be the strangest icon ever. xDD But it's true!

They didn't really add too much if you think about it. Some are just pre-evolutions and evolutions of classics (Eevee, Chansey, Mr. Mime, Electabuzz, etc.), and the newer ones aren't the best things to ever come out of the different generations either. :P

But back to the secret: What kind of points are different? I just bought Diamond since I liked Dialga more than Palkia. ^^;

Yeah, but they can only do so much before it just... gets overdone. But that's how every series is like. I'll still be playing and giving Nintendo my money on a silver platter though. 8D;

Ah, as far as I know, the Pokémon and the motives of the Team Galactic leader... I think. I think you basically replace "space" with "time" in this ramblings if you're playing Pearl and there you go.

I got Diamond for the same reason. xD;

Yeah... I've been playing since it came out, and I'm 21 and *still* playing the damned games. *Sigh* Fortunately, so are many people on campus!

Do they use the "Catch 'em all" slogan any more? 'Cause I just checked wikipedia and there's like almost 500 of the damn things now! Yeah, fuck that. That said, I'll probably pick up Diamond or Pearl when I get the chance, since it looks like it's still a fun game. :3

Ah, Diamond and Pearl are very fun games if you still enjoy Pokemon. A lot of people are like "IS IT REALLY THAT GOOD?!" like it's supposed to be the best thing on the DS evar, but it's not going to be very fun if you don't care much for Pokemon anymore. XD I think it's great.

(It's OK! I used to know the Pokerap too. >_>; Oh, I had so much fun learning it...)

Jesus, tell me about it. My problem isn't so much keeping track of all the Pokemon names as it is keeping track of all the elements, their weaknesses, etc. I'll probably pick up Diamond/Pearl sometime (because has a PENGUIN POKEMON FOR YOUR STARTER FUCK YES) but for now, I'm going to pretend that they stopped at Gold/Silver/Crystal and that the anime stopped somewhere during the first half of the Johto Journeys arc
