I wonder what it is about this comm that makes it such a beacon for depressed people? Speaking as one myself, I just don't know why.

I'm not exactly certain, but I think it had something to do with depressed people not being as social or outgoing, so they stay inside more and therefore spend more time on the Internet and in fandom. I'm not saying this goes for all depressed people, but I think the lack of motivation to do stuff outside is probably a big factor for most.

Also I'm not saying it's a bad thing for people to spend a lot of time inside and on the Internet if that's what they prefer doing, but I do think it's healthier to find other things outside the Internet to get out of bed.

I really, really hope you start feeling better soon. I know it's such an empty phrase and makes no difference when you are down (I used to do the same thing more or less, I would get out of bed just to sit in front of the computer). Just don't give up, things have to get better at some point.

We all fall into ruts from time to time. I just hope that yours doesn't last too long. As long as you're getting out of bed, even if it's just to check f!s, that's still something. It's the little victories, right?
